Hatco S-57 240/3 Details

The space saving Hatco S-57 57 kW Imperial booster water heater has a 16 gallon capacity to provide plenty of hot final rinse water required to properly sanitize and flash-dry dishes and flatware! This electric booster heater is factory pre-plumbed and pre-wired with a calibrated immersion thermostat and high-temperature limit switch, and features fiberglass insulation to minimize heat loss.
To help reduce energy costs, this unit operates by step loading, or using its heating elements only as needed. When first turned on, the booster heater uses the first of its several heating element banks; as more demand is placed on creating hot water, the other banks of elements will begin to heat, one after another. This process limits how many elements are operating at any given time to ensure that energy is not wasted.
A sizing chart is included at the end of the Spec Sheet to help you match the correct booster heater to your needs.

Water Quality Requirements:Incoming water exceeding 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) must be treated and softened before being supplied to the booster heater. Water containing over 3.0 GPG will decrease the efficiency and reduce the operating life of the unit. Product failure caused by liming or sediment buildup is not covered under warranty.
