Details

Finding the space to load and prep foods for frying can be tricky, but with this Pitco® 100-000621-003-C work shelf, you can easily add a usable work area without reducing fryer capacity or eating into aisle space! This shelf installs above the fryer’s oil overflow area, creating a platform where you can stage fresh-breaded foods for easy loading. If you fry frozen products, you can also use the shelf to pre-load the baskets and then drop into the oil. This is a much safer way to load the fryer than loading frozen items directly over oil, since it reduces the amount of ice crystals going into the heated oil, and it’s also better for maintaining oil quality. It is designed for use with SG14 series fryers with millivolt controls.
