Ensure that the only substance running through your pipes is clean water with this Zurn Elkay grease trap! This grease interceptor prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems in your commercial kitchen or restaurant by trapping grease without clogging or cross-contamination. Built to withstand high-volume use in even the most rigorous applications, it’s made of durable yet lightweight non-corrosive polyethylene for easy handling and installation. Grease traps are often used with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers in various types of commercial food service operations.
This model includes an external vented flow control device that slows incoming wastewater and redirects it through the scientifically placed, flow diffusing baffle inside the integral trap. For added convenience, it can withstand continuous temperatures up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. This grease trap comes equipped with 2″ female NPT connections for simple installation and adaptability.
This grease trap has a grease capacity of 8 lb. and a 4 GPM flow rate.
